The SpLD Service parental webinars are free online sessions to equip parents and guardians with information, knowledge and practical strategies for supporting children with dyslexia. Topics cover understanding dyslexia, fostering positive approaches, making reading engaging, organisation skills and are delivered via Microsoft Teams for approximately one to two hours per session.
Parents and legal guardians receive actionable tools and tips to help their child at home, such as building confidence, improving literacy through fun activities and creating supportive routines. These webinars empower families to complement school interventions, with series typically spanning multiple sessions on related themes.
Open to all parents and guardians of children with suspected or diagnosed dyslexia, across ages from early primary years through secondary school.
Fill in the form once notified by the school.
