Heritage Malta Student Passport

Overview

The Heritage Malta Student Passport is a fantastic initiative that gives students free access to Malta’s national museums and heritage sites, encouraging them to explore and appreciate the country’s rich history and culture.

What you'll get

With the passport, students can enjoy memorable educational outings with their carers and friends, as each pass allows free entry for the student plus two accompanying adults. The scheme is open to all children attending any school in Malta.

Eligibility

From Year 1 (ages 5/6) to Year 11 (ages 15/16)

How to apply

The card is given automatically to all students at Year 1.

All Heritage Malta sites and museums are free of charge for children ages 0-5.

Students attending ITS, MCAST, JC and other post-secondary schools are eligible for free admission.

Heritage Malta also routinely delivers activities to children from age 3 to 15, the event list can be found on Heritage Malta’s Social Media and website.

Students who do not attend a school in Malta also get reduced admission upon presentation of a valid student card.

Timeline

  • Step 1: Collect your Heritage Malta card at your school

  • Step 2: Upon first visit at a Heritage Malta site or museum (except for Borġ in-Nadur, Ħal Saflieni Hypogeum, Ta’ Ħaġrat Megalithic Site, Skorba Prehistoric Site and Gozo Nature Museum), students will be given their Heritage Malta passport.
