Overview
Embark for Life supports young people aged 14 to 25 who are at risk of social exclusion and may face difficulties accessing or maintaining employment, education, or volunteering opportunities. The service helps participants build independence, improve their quality of life, and develop the skills needed to become active members of their communities.
What you'll get

The Ħabrek Programme, including group sessions and job-site visits.
Access to the Youth Engage Scheme, offering volunteering opportunities with NGOs.
Support in developing life skills, confidence, independence, and employability.
Opportunities to gain practical experience, teamwork skills, and exposure to workplace environments.
Assistance in building healthy relationships and support networks.
Eligibility
Young people aged 14 to 25 years who:

Are at risk of social exclusion.

Experience challenges in accessing or maintaining education, employment, or volunteering opportunities.

Require support to develop independence and improve their social and economic wellbeing.

May be serving a sentence or have experienced difficult life circumstances.

Referrals may be made by:

Parents or guardians

Professionals within the Directorate and FSWS

NGOs and other external agencies
Parental or guardian consent is required for minors. Adult clients may consent on their own behalf. Accepted referrals are allocated to a professional or placed on a waiting list.
