The Boost Your Coding scheme is an initiative designed to provide financial assistance to individuals undertaking coding courses that align with the scheme’s objectives. The scheme offers support of up to €1,000 per applicant, with a total budget allocation of €400,000.
The primary aim of the Boost Your Coding scheme is to encourage the development of digital skills by refunding the cost of eligible coding courses. Applicants may submit multiple applications for different courses, provided that the cumulative financial support awarded does not exceed €1,000 per individual.
Applicants must be 16 years of age or older. For those aged 16 or 17, a legal guardian is required to submit the application on their behalf. Legal guardians may submit applications both for themselves and for their eligible children.
A catalogue of approved coding courses is available on the MDIA website. Applicants may apply for courses listed in the catalogue or propose alternative courses that meet the scheme’s objectives. To qualify for funding, courses must commence on or after 8 October 2025 and be completed by 30 September 2026.

3. If course is not listed, it is possible to register a new course which will be subject to MDIA’s approval.
