Year Six Primary School students from state, church, and independent schools are eligible to apply for admission to the National Sport School, provided their application is endorsed by a nursery or a club affiliated with a recognised National Federation or Association.
The admissions process is thorough, consisting of two main stages within the sports discipline: field trials and a fitness assessment. In addition to athletic performance, academic achievement is essential; applicants must achieve a minimum score of 50 marks in each of the three of the core subjects (Mathematics, English, Maltese or Maltese as a Foreign Language, and Science) to qualify for entry. Failing in one subject means the applicant cannot proceed further with the application process.

Year 6 students who, for the past calendar year, attended training with a recognised club or nurseries affiliated with a National Association or Federation recognised by the Malta Olympic Committee.

After they complete the form with your required details and upload all the necessary documents, they can submit it by clicking the submit button. Each applicant will receive an acknowledgement once they submit the form. The Admissions Board will review all submissions to ensure that all required documents are attached and that each submission meets eligibility requirements. Once approved, each applicant will receive a confirmation of successful submission and application accepted.
