The KIDs programme is one of the services offered by Richmond Foundation, a local NGO that supports people experiencing mental health problems in the community. This Programme is supported through a Public Social Partnership between Richmond Foundation and the Ministry for Social Policy and Children’s Rights.
The KIDs in Development Programme is a residential, behavioural programme for children between the ages of 7 and 13 years old. The three-year programme assists minors who have experienced severe childhood adversity and who as a result begin to exhibit an array of severe challenging behaviours and due to this would require a behavioural programme that is tailored to assist the minors in their needs and that will assist them in learning skills both on a practical, emotional and relational level.
7-10 years old
This three-year programme is tailored to children who are aged between 7 and 10 upon referral. Referral are accepted after being submitted by a social worker from the Foundation of Social Welfare Services.
