Youth Cafès.

Overview

Youth Cafès aim to foster a sense of community, inclusion, and well-being by offering a place where young people can come together, share experiences, and enjoy their free time in a positive, nurturing atmosphere. The Youth Cafès are places where young individuals can feel valued, develop new skills, explore their potential, and connect with like-minded peers in a non-judgmental setting. Through a range of fun and engaging activities, Youth Cafès offer information, guidance, and a chance to build friendships.

The Youth Cafès are part of a broader initiative by Aġenzija Żgħażagħ to ensure that young people in Malta have access to social spaces that go beyond traditional settings, with a focus on personal development and access to opportunities.

Sessions run Mondays 17:00–19:00 at locations across Malta and Gozo. Contact Aġenzija Żgħażagħ for your nearest Youth Cafè location.

Eligibility

Free and open to all young people aged 12 to 26 residing in Malta and Gozo, regardless of nationality or background. No referral, no appointment, and no registration is required — just turn up. Specialised Youth Cafès for young people with Down Syndrome and young LGBTI+ individuals are also available through Aġenzija Żgħażagħ.

How to apply

Getting involved with one of the Youth Cafès is easy! To attend, you simply need to complete an online registration form. It’s quick, straightforward, and ensures you get all the details you need to join in on the fun and activities. 

-    Step 1: Go to the Youth Cafè Registration Page.
-    Step 2: Fill in the required details on the registration form.
-    Step 3: Submit the form, and you’ll receive confirmation of your registration and more information about the Youth Cafè you’ll be attending.
