Read at Home

Overview

Read at Home is a free book lending service run by the National Literacy Agency. It encourages children and teens to read for pleasure by giving them access to a wide range of age-appropriate books in Maltese and English. Families can apply online to receive a set of books of their own choosing delivered directly to their home. Once the books have been read, they can request a new order by filling in the same application form. The service promotes a love of reading in the comfort of the home and is open to children and young people across Malta and Gozo.

What you'll get

Students will receive a free pack of books in Maltese and/or English, selected by them or their parents based on their age and interests. Once they finish reading the books, they can request a new pack by filling in the same application form. The books are then exchanged, with the old ones being collected when the new ones are delivered, making it easy and fun to keep reading regularly.
