The Sport Scholarship Scheme

Overview

The Sport Scholarship Scheme is designed to boost sport in Malta by making it more professional and helping high-performance athletes to grow, so that they can represent Malta in international contests. Raising the quality of sport locally will not only help Malta gain recognition abroad and bring economic benefits—especially for tourism—but it will also motivate more people throughout the country to be active in sports and exercise more. Overall, the aim is better health and wellbeing for everyone.
