Introduction – Information Management Unit

The Information Management Unit (IMU) within the Ministry for Education (MEYR), is the unit like in all other Ministries responsible for all Information Technology.

Above all, the IMU within the Ministry for Education has been tasked with providing all Government of Malta (GOM) online services which are available for children 0 to 18 years from one web portal.

The aim is to first of all make a required service as easily accessible as possible. Additionally, the aim of the portal is to expose all GOM services which are available for children from 0 till 18 years. The long term aim is to make the MY Child portal the one point of contact for all services for children from 0 to 18 years.

Apart from making services available for Parents / Guardian through the web portal, the IMU can be contracted through the email [email protected].

Through the My Child portal you can:

•         Request information on Government services

•         Raise an application or request a service

•         Make suggestions about existent  or additional Government services

Who may use My Child.gov.mt?

Everyone can use the My Child portal however it is mainly aimed at parents and guardians of children from 0 – 18 years.
